About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Barista to join the team at Kalimera Greek Bakery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for great coffee, excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming experience for every customer. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, serving customers efficiently, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the bakery.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a range of high-quality coffees and hot and cold beverages.
Provide friendly, welcoming, and professional customer service.
Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the till and card machine.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised coffee station and customer service area.
Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
Prepare and serve bakery products and other food items as required.
Ensure products are presented attractively and restocked when needed.
Answer customer questions about products, ingredients, and allergens.
Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a high standard of service.
Support colleagues with general bakery and front-of-house duties when required.
Monitor stock levels and inform management when supplies need replenishing.
Contribute to creating a warm, friendly, and authentic Greek bakery experience for all customers.
