About the Role
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and passionate Baker/Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Kalimera Greek Bakery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and enjoy working in a busy kitchen environment.
Requirements
Prepare and bake a variety of sweet and savoury Greek pies.
Prepare fresh sandwiches and other food items.
Make and prepare desserts and sweet treats.
Assist with general food preparation and kitchen duties.
Follow recipes and maintain consistent quality and presentation.
Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and hygienic at all times.
Follow food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
Manage stock and ensure ingredients are stored correctly.
Work efficiently as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
Carry out any other kitchen and food preparation duties as required.

We are an independent cafe / bakery and we have 2 locations one in Gosforth and one in Newcastle city center.
